After discovering her interest in performing in community college, she transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Theater, Film, and Television. She has a degree in Theater Arts with an acting emphasis. She is passionate about storytelling, performance, and bringing authentic characters to life. Maya has a strong foundation in acting technique and scene study, and is actively pursuing theatrical representation in Los Angeles.
