Maya Tanaka is an actor hailing from Pasadena, California. After discovering her interest in performing in community college, she transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Theater, Film and Television. She has a BA in Theater Arts with an acting emphasis.

Maya is passionate about storytelling, performance, and bringing authentic characters to life. She has a strong foundation in acting technique and scene study, and is actively pursuing theatrical representation in Los Angeles.

As a Japanese-American woman, Maya is proud to bring underrepresented characters to life. She is excited to pursue her acting career after training at UCLA TFT!
